Well . . . I GET to start over with my civic since it is going to be out of the body shop after over a year of sitting after a nasty front end accident.
I dont know why people bag on the vic so much. I have a WRX and am looking to go back to the civic because of gas milage (280 tank on 91 - 370 tank on 87), insurance, and everybody and their grandma wanting to race me. Also, cops love to hear the rumble of the WRX and talk to me about it. So, Im actually looking forward to it.
No leakin plans tho, I want to remain secret till the final unveiling.

i would have not kitted it...just bought wheels/drop/tint, black out headlights w/amber piece....sort of like amberop...then i would have spent the thousands i'd save from not doing the kit/paint and do a swap

only thing i would have done differently is gotten some 15x7s rather then my 17s , the 17s look awesome but i think i would have enjoyed the ride comforta and the performance out of the 15s

i wouldve done more research and gotten a nissan 300zx or maybe a non-turbo supra. or maybe even a '91 CRX then swapped a B18B into there and boosted that **** outa it and been running 12's in the quarter on stock internals and still be daily driven.

would've crashed my old car about 5 months later and gotten a tc instead of the civic. no regrets for the time. and yes i couldve gotten a base solara or corolla S but the civic is smaller and more fun. plus is cheaper to maintain. no complaints on the civic. i love this car.
Couldn't find a used Subaru RS anywhere at the time, didn't even think of buying a 99 or 00 Civic SI or an older Prelude, manual transmission ofcourse (wish I did).
Nope, I Just went new cuz the deal seemed pretty comfortable at the time, and heck it's the next best thing. Once I made the decision to buy new, the civic was the nicest car for the price in 2003.
I really wish I would have bought those damn 18" rims last summer when I HAD the money, but I can wait.

I don't think I have any regret buying my 7th gen. I think the car looks good, it handles well even with factory suspension, comfortable, & give great gas mileage. The D17 is pretty slow, yea, I have to agree on that especially after driving my Prelude but after some good tuning, I think the 7th gen can give a good run against the Prelude or any other cars that are faster from the factory.
The turbo 7th gen Civic video that I just saw here definitely making me want to start working on my Civic now...hehe..
