IF you could start all over...

what would you do to your car?

If i could start over i would have first gotten a 5 speed but at the time i didnt really want one.

Then i would have saved about 1500 bucks and bought a complete lowering kit along with some nice 5zigens and then a cf hood.

What about you guys/gals

Injen

ACURAwerx 07-26-2004 12:06 AM

if i could start all over, i would have never boughten a 7thgen:)!

EnProceso 07-26-2004 12:10 AM

i would of bought a 1992 hatchback so i wouldnt have any monthly payments and full coverage insurance. with all the money i would have saved by now i could of been got a type-r swap and fixed it up super clean.....man just thinking about that makes me sad.

dragoon 07-26-2004 12:12 AM

i would've done a swap instead of purchasing that awful SF kit.

injencivic 07-26-2004 12:21 AM

ya i am thinking about trading or selling my car for a 98ish hatch and turboing the hell out it.

I would have gone with a wrx or accord coupe v6. But otherwise I would have gotten a manual. But like injen said, I really didnt want one at the time.

clownprince 07-26-2004 04:29 AM

I would have kept the car and modded it instead of getting a g/f, thankfully she's gone now but the car's still here.

Xenin 07-26-2004 04:31 AM

i would not have gotten an A/T coupe. i'd get the Si/SiR hatchback, which is what i'm looking for right now.

2k2EXCOUPE 07-26-2004 11:09 AM

Like others have said...Definately not bought an automatic...

I would have liked a Nissan Spec-V or a Jeep Wrangler (thats what Im looking to get now, an old Wrangler  )

Arcan3 07-26-2004 11:27 AM

umm not streetracing my car into a house?

incubus7d 07-26-2004 11:50 AM

Never bought it dropped the loot on my MR2 make it faster, engine swap upgraded turbo etc..........

abmerop18 07-26-2004 12:16 PM

i would have never got a body kit or done all this exterior work and would have just done rims and a drop and with all the saved money i would have built a nice turbo kit

AR 07-26-2004 02:53 PM

I would have got a G35 coupe?
:( If I could afford it.

civicvtec1ps 07-26-2004 03:02 PM

Should have kept old Tein ss i had on Ex and use it on si. :_disgust:

Or

Honda Element 5 speed. :)

Tdoan14 07-26-2004 03:18 PM

I should have gotten a manual instead of auto, an Si or RSX instead of EX Coupe.

tinman 07-26-2004 08:53 PM

I would have gotten an older civic or accord and modded the hell out of it with the money I would have saved, and had a SOLID car.

I like my 7th gen, but it's potential sucks.

j-jolly 07-26-2004 09:06 PM

i would have gotten an integra gsr or 00 civic si if i could not afford them i would have just gotten an integra.

dirtySAMURAI 07-26-2004 10:23 PM

If I could start with the $ that the civic cost in 2001, then I would have a nice little R32 in my garage.

ragingSPAM 07-26-2004 11:46 PM

wouldnt have quit my old job so i could have money to do a swap...i mean within 6 months of working i made $6500+ working part time at a minimum wage job while going to high skool

blackbullet 07-26-2004 11:48 PM

I would of left it stock!!

aznstylez254 07-26-2004 11:57 PM

i would have bought the 00 type-r instead of the 7thgen.

sspem2 07-27-2004 04:50 PM

stead of all the "show" stuff like my audio, kit, rims, neons, lambos the flashy stuff i would have went straight for the k20 plus turbo then just dropped it with some nice 16's, cf hood. i like the showy type while my gf is the jdm speed sleeper type and she makes fun of me for not doing it. i should have listened. always listen to the woman uh? lol oh well i love my car and what ive done. turbo will be coming soon anway. :D

Eeeeeeh 07-27-2004 05:32 PM

I had the choice to get my car right then in the summer of 2003 or wait about a couple of months and get a nicer car. The car that i really wanted back then was a GTI 1.8T. But, i just couldn't wait so I just got the 7th Gen.

I think that I should have waited and gotten a better car, i probablly would have ended up with a Type S :(

But i'm not just going to sit here and dwell on it because i feel bad whenever i think about it. All i know is that my next car will either be a IS300 or a Bimmer :)

ImPulse 07-27-2004 05:42 PM

I had no choice :( I have to cooperate so that I get my bmw later on :D

DexMan 07-29-2004 01:02 AM
