12.5 pounds in 17s, what's not to love. I just dunno how stong they can be even though they're forged. Too light can be scary sometimes because those are the lightest 17s in the market. Lighter than SSR Type C and Volk TE-37. The Volks weigh nearly 17 pounds, and they're well known for being light and strong.
I wanted the Velox really bad, but it worries me how light they are. The SSR are around 13-14 pounds, and I hear they get bent very often b/c the hollow spokes aren't as strong.
