OK...I bought this Black Widow front bumper and Buddy Club 1 sides and rear for my 2K1 Coupe. Kit comes via the greyhound express on Canada Day. I go to pick the thing up and it takes two trips to get it home and the rear would barely fit in my car.
Throw the thing into my dining room. I live alone in my house so I don't have any freakin furniture in there...I eat on the couch
Brought the kit to the shop and dropped my car off, got a rental and went to work. Same day at 1pm just after I had lunch I get a call from Vu my body and paint guy. He said that the only thing that's gonna get this kit on my car is $3000 because the fit is sooooo incredibly bad. I went to look at it and it was horrible to say the least. So we decide to forget that kit and I leave my car there overnight while I contemplate my next move.
I have a show 10 days from this point and I'm getting very nervous.
I stopped at Goldwing Auto on the way home and check on a G5 kit. I think that kit looks nutts on an EBP Civic. I got a great deal on it and they could get it to me overnight. So I snag that. Next morning, I get my car back and return the rental......2004 Carolla....Peice of S.hit monster car. Feels like it's gonna roll over sittin still.
Just got back from pickin the G5 kit up and the car is going back on Monday for the work. Now I have two body kits sitting in my dining room.
That has to make it the most kick azz dining room of all time!

dude I think he is ripping you off, $3000 to fit a body kit, that is insane. Even if it is really bad, it shouldnt cost $3000 to do. I would take it somewhere else and get a new body shop guy

He's very expensive but his work is unmatched in the entire city. Any kit will be bwtween $1500 - $1800.
I'm sure you could get someone to fit this thing for a lot less but for the work involved I would be leary of the finished product.

Still though I think you are getting ripped off. I have friends that have had full kits put on my the best body shops here in houston and they only pay about $700-$900 and they look nice as hell.

That really sucks that the first kit(s) doesn't fit. Were the pieces advertised for your civic (model, year, trim?) If so, I'd want my money back from whoever you bought it from. That's a heavy hit in the pockets
