lx v-tec
i have a 2002 civic lx and i had a injen CAI. well - i sucked some water up and guess what. bent rod. i had it towed to a honda shop in mobile al. and i had them put a 2002 ex motor in there and a ex ecu. so now i have v-tec. cant really tell to much a difference- but it cost me 200.00 total. yeah - good deal. i filed it as flood damage on my insurance and they paid all butt deductible. the honda shop just showed the insurance guy the water in the pan. so now i have a v-tec motor. i know what some of you are saying- why not get a k-20 -but they probably wouldnt have paid for such a different motor. oh well.
I wish I was asian

awesome deal, but it probably did nothing but get your car back up and running.
its vtec btw, not v-tec. Just make sure you know that vtec on a SOHC motor is more about economy than performance.
