well I think I totaled my car yesterday.
my little 01 coupe (aprox 2500lb) ended up on top of a telephone pole. both airbags went off, I believe the battery broke cause nothing that took power would work(hazzards, power locks, cd player), the tranny is like a rock, and the front is just totally fukced. my pu octane is broken into like a million pieces. about 4 big ones tho. half of the drivers side headlight was like 5 feet fron the car. the radiator looks like this \_/ instead of like this ____. sucks. I need to go back today or tomorrow to get off the things that are not damaged (tails, shift ****, lip kit, etc). I should also try to get my NGKs out of there.... suppose I could get the $$$ security system out of there?
anyways, I havent heard the final word yet, but I bet the car is done. That does not mean I will stop coming here tho! I could not give up my favoritest site on the web!

We have a black '00 SI here in Tallahassee, bone stock. It's got like 45000 miles on it? It's at our Honda dealership.
I'm looking for a car, as well. I totaled mine on New Year's...

I Have seen civic SI's around selling at bluebook value which is not 20 grand!. You just have to look hard for them thats all.
Also look for a 98 240sx and swap an sr20 in there with a turbo. This with custom paint will come out 14 grand aproximently!
means body kit, stereo. All the goodies!
EsineN YOU TOTALED YOUR CAR!!!!!!!!!
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
WHY? GOD WHY? YOUR car was Sweet!

man that sucks about ur car, as for takin stuff, most reckin yards dont let u take anything that is bolted down and ur insurance may say the same, they will offer for u to buy it back, then u can take stuff off, thats what happened when i totalled my Accord, best of luck

might keep car
I just talked to the guy who is doing my estamite and he seems preatty sure that they will total the car out, but there is still a possibility that I could keep it.
If I do keep it then I will have to re-buy stuff for my engine. w00t! is there a header that gives +++ power and you can still use the heatshield? I want to hide it
Are there any aftermarket fans or radiators that are made for our cars, actually do somthing, and not a total ripoff?
also, is there a difference in the performance of different carbon fiber hoods? like does one keep things cooler or is one lighter? along with that, what is a good brand that has pre-drilled holes and stuff?
thanks!

About the header, Hp makes good header or just wait for SF to built there N\A header, and header for our car dont make MAD HP. dont know about the heat shield some how you can customize it to fit using ur OEM. No radiator out at this time and fan also unless you have the Money to. there is alot of CF hood out there cheap one good one, But try Fiber image,Kamanari makes good hood but cost a grip there more check the PARTS SECTION>

i think you should save your money because even after a header and cf hood hell throw in a cai and exhaust and all that other b.s and your still driving a slow civic.

Yep, turbo might be the only hope for our cars.

for the hood, get the kaminari its one of the best out there and it had a functional ram air scoop. As for the radiator spoon makes one for the old B series which should work on our cars and spoon is still partially OEM.

I dont want any scoops on the hood really... maybe a "invader" at the most (that reverse scoop thing)
the car is preatty bad, but if I have to fix it why use OEM parts???
