Simply freaking amazing... my sub is blown. It started sounding odd - like something was rattling inside the box - so I took it back to the shop. Well, W7s NEVER go wrong. That is... unless it's mine. The voice coil was defective from the factory. Now I'm without bass for up to (or possibly more than) 4 weeks.

i take it the hole in the floor in front of the sub is the port. question. is your trunk 2 pieces, or is the carpet coming loose?

Yes, that hole is the port. Matt, my installer, told me that rectangular ports sound better for these subs than circular ports. I love the way it sounds er- sounded.

It's made as a left and right side. The seam is hidden very well with the way he carpetted it.

just wondering cause i saw what appeared to be either a seam or the carpet peeling in the pic. nice install though, really like how is come up out of the floor sort of. got any pics of it from underneath, so we can see how the port goes? im assuming it goes under the box, wiht a piece seperating the part where the speaker is and where the port returns to.
