I didn't excatly know where to post this so mods feel free to move.....Anyways my boy just called me and asked for my advice.....He has a 2002 Celica GT manual and he was going to trade it in for a gt-s......When he was at the dealership there was a TRD Celica gt in the show room.....It has the TRD kit, TRD exhaust, TRD springs, and TRD wheels for $2,000 less then the gt-s he was going to get......Hes pretty sure he is going to turbo whatever car he gets....so here is what I was thinking.....With the TRD Celica he already has some of the modifications done and he can run higher psi.....With the gt-s there is a 40hp difference (not sure if that is the exact number) 6 gears and it has varible lift.....I don't really know much about celicas soooo help will be much apprected......

So I guess the question is.....What would you do??

Go GTS heres why.....

You can't beat lift!! so until he gets the turbo it'll be much better.

with good tires and a straight pipe forget exhaust, you'll be around 13.5 once he learns to drive. with the GT he'll be high 13's at best. Plus the GT-S is a Much better car IMO!!

TRD Celica GT = Celica GT
It's the same exact car except it has an exhaust,drop, and body kit.
If I had to choose, i'd definitely take the GT-S
