Personally, I would prefer a picture that shows the color, hard to tell how the body lines are and stuff like that.
But overral from what we can see, it looks tight. I just hope its a GT-S because the GT doesn't have that much more power then the 2k1 EX, just a much more sportier look.

The second one looks silly to me, I am not into all the graphics and stuff, so that will explain it. Oh well....
Still not pimping over the Celicas, give me something else.

For your info, the Celica GT is WAY faster than Civic EX........ never mind the numbers. 1st, its WAY lighter... second there is a difference between RATED horsepower, and HP at the WHEELS. Why do you think the 1.8L MR-2 Spyder (same engine as Celica GT/Corolla) smokes 200HP Prelude?
Last summer stock Celica GTs ran 15.8 - 16.2s at the Cayuga racetrack...

You sure that is an old celica?????????...Kinda looks like an old Nissan to me...
I agree...Michigan has way too many Grand AM's, Jeeps, trucks, and other SUV's....I hate em all...most times cops will go after kids still, but they gotta see how these moms drive these SUV's...rigth up my a$$ every time...its terrible...
I have to drive so defensivly when around Detroit...it sux!!!!!!! Then they are the stupid peeps that wanna race me cause I've done some exterior mods...I just rev it, and when the light turns...just watch them speed off...cause I just don't care...
Point being...Watch out in Detroit...Drivers suck!

How about because the prelude weighs in at 3200Lbs and the MR-S weighs 2200. And by "smokes" i assume you mean "PULLS BASICALLY THE SAME FIGURES IN A STANDING 1/4 MILE".

And yes, for your info, Toyotas ARE efficient in terms of putting power to the wheels.
This was tested by major media publications.. I believe MR-2 put out 130HP@wheels, with 145HP rated... that is EXCELLENT. Prelude at 200HP, I believe does about 160-170... you do the math.
As a point, I raced a lighter 6th Gen 127HP Civic (Auto) with my 115HP 7th Gen Civic (Auto)... and beat it by a bumper, up to 120km/h... 3 races in total. You can't miss shift, just need good reaction time, which my opponent had. SOHC V-TEC is over-RATED. I doubt there is less than 12HP difference at wheels.. .more like 4 or 5, tops.
You can't believe ratings all the time. As for Celica GT's 140HP? Under-rated. Oh yeah... last night I raced an 160HP RSX, from standing still to all the way to 190km/h... we were literally DEAD even. I dont think a 127HP Civic EX could do that. Or come close.

Not a celica...its a J-Spec Toyota Corolla Levin/Treuno(SP), its a inline 4 w/ VVTi-L...Rear Wheel Drive...also a drifter car. You might be familiar with the older one...the Hachi-Roku which is a AE86 Corolla.
I have seen a few and they look all right but still I wouldn't spend the money for one. I am more of the Honda area buyer,
But yeah they look good, second car would be the celica it wouldn't be a daily driver

i personally think the body style of the celica is tight...but i wouldnt buy one. Like all the magazines say "it looks fast" I hear that all the time. Oh ya, and someone said that the Celica GT willl beat the civic, i really dont think so...i think a civic could take it...

You think a Civic can take a Celica GT?
LOL Wake up from your dream.
I'm just telling you, because I own a 7th Gen Civic and my brother owns a Celica GT. I've driven both many times.
I told you this before.... Civic couldn't even take a Corolla. Nevermind the Celica GT.

hey 01Coupe, How do you really know, you have an LX or DX auto, so of course a Celica GT will be faster than you. 25hp, AND you have an auto. I think the EX/Si 5spd has much better odds, It too can probably pull about 3 cars on you. But a Celica GT, is probably ever so slightly faster.
I'm sorry my friend, but it IS a celica. A 1986 gt-s from the North Coast.
Unless the front facia is lying.....

Yeah, I beat an idiot in a Celica GT with my Auto LX as well.
But I can't beat my brother's........
I tried at least a dozen times, and he beats me by 4 car lengths to 100km/h
