My GOD can't we all just get along?!! I drive an auto,WTF?!!! I happen to enjoy driving my auto and respect other people's opinions,well most people's anyway. If ya gotta problem with a MAN driving an auto Maybe ya need to look in the mirror,MF! (no disrespect to peeps with common sense who drive manual trans) BUT um... while I'm driving I don't have my hand wrapped around a STICK. AS for the whole MAGIC STICK thing, MY magic stick isn't in my car it's in my PANTS!!!!!!!!!! I'm cruising with no worries, got the 10s bumpin'. If I wanna punch it I punch it. Plus with an auto, while I'm drivin' My other hands usually free for grabbin' *******,DOG!!!!!!!!!!

Personaly "I" think manual is better than auto ive had both(in the same car) and id never go back to an auto(hated it everyday) it takes the fun out of driving. specter542....what's wrong with driving auto???...are u saying that 80% of the people drive auto in U.S. are stupid??.....I admit i ilke to drive stick more than auto.....I admit that auto is not fun to drive.....but i really think sometimes auto are more convenient than stick.....if u think that is an exause, then tell me why most people buy automatic instead of mannul...BECASUE it is more CONVENIENT and much easier to drive.....you can say how fun is to drive stick or how boring is to drive auto..I don't care......but don't say **** about the people who is driving auto....becasue when you said that, you are the one who is stupid......Also...about the wing....who care what kind of wing he/she has...as long as he/she like it then it's all good

No question MT is better for sport driving. But it isn't convenient in stop-n-go traffic and becomes a real pain after a while. Guess I've gotten older and lazier. Then again, with a torque converter, tranny cooler and turbo I may have just as much fun, and best of both worlds.

Rep Power: 481 I drive an AT and I'm proud of it. There's nothing wrong with driving an AT at all. I do a lot of driving in stop and go traffic and the constant up and down shifting and clutching is hard on the car. So, for my purpose, an AT is perfectly fine. Yes, I do know how to drive stick and it's not a problem for me to get into an MT car and take off. I really think that all econoboxes should come as an AT only and that the MT should be reserved for sports cars. There's no real reason that a Civic needs to be a 5 speed.

i have an auto! its my daily driver. i dont even wish my car is a manual because if i wanted a fast(er) car i would have bought something else.
i was in the market for a car and i was looking for either a 300zx, integra, rsx, 6tgen civic si, or a bmw M3 (E36) manual. due to the economy, it is cheaper to buy a new car than a used car as far as finance charges.therefore i decided to get a new car instead my parents were against getting a manual because back in philippines they only have manual cars there and they hated driving manual. the thing is tho is that they didnt have power steering, power brakes and all that. i was forced to get an auto because my parents wanted a car that everyone can drive. so far im the only one driving my car. i got the civic when i was 16. it was a birthday/christmas/graduation present.
