do you have an upgraded wire harness. Stock wires only support around 12v, whereas new harness can bring that upto 14v. That makes the bulbs almost 500 lumens brighter. Stock bulbs can see 1000lumens stock and upto 1500 or more with the mod.

Rep Power: 0 Nah, i think it depends on what type TYC you get. in most cases, the black housing TYC are has the shittiest output since it doesn't reflect any light. on the other hand, i have been completely satisfied with my chrome TYC's. they are as much if not brighter than my stock ones and never had any problems with it. compared to black plastic housing, they emit more light because it's chrome i guess, but nevertheless worth my money IMO.
