I am soooooo pissed off right now! I'm guessing it was some stupid kids (whom I didn't buy their damn mag. subscriptions the other day) who egg'd my car last night while I was sleeping. Two of the 3 egg impacts caused chips (all the way to the black metal, no clearcoat or paint to be seen in those spots) in my paint, but the overall clearcoat is still intact outside of those impacts (worse of the 2 impacts is about a 3" circle of chips). I got it detailed 1st thing this morning and it still looks good. It could have been a lot worse, since the chips beneath the driver's side mirror and door edges can't be seen except up close and line of sight. Still sucks though, I wish I didn't turn my alarm sensitivity down awhile back, since maybe I could have gotten to it before the chips formed. I'll post pics of the damage later, too pissed off right now!!!

Sorry, but people are just stupid sometimes. I feel your pain--someone sideswiped the side of my bumper and drove off when the alarm came on.

I second that!! My front bumper is slightly off color from the fenders. Plus I noticed that the paint is chipping off underneath my rear bumper and I see how cheap and thin the paint is.
