Eibach Sportline Kit
Eibach Sportline Kit
I just got the sportline kit put on last week on my 2003 Civic LX Sedan, i luv the way it looks but i still have to get the alignment done. the place where i got it done told me that the camber kit was not the right kind for my car and they are not sure if there is one available yet. But i'm sure Eibach would have made a alignment kit for the 7th gen civic.
has anybody here also got the sportline kit on there 2003 civic sedan?
if so , was there any problems with getting the alignment done?
did Eibach have the parts available to do it?
Thanks

when ever you lower any car from factory ride heith, you always need to get a realignment, when the car is lowered the rack and penion are ofset, realignment should do the job tho, and a camber kit will most likely be needed

I suggest getting a camber kit before you get an alignment. It will help align the car. They still should be able to align it at least a little, but without a camber kit, you won't get it done perfectly.

i know that Eibach does have alignment kits for the front and rear, i checked the web site. the installation instructions that came with the sportline kit did make referance to a camber adjustment +/- 1.0 degrees and did give a part no..
i'm going to phone eibach to see if they have the right parts for the alignment. i'm pretty sure they have tested the sportline kit on the 03's civics, plus i don't think there is any major mechanical differences between the 2k1 or 2k2 and 2k3 civic's.
the sportline kit no. is 4.5140 and according the the web site it fits the civic's from 01-03 so i'm assuming they have the camber kits and rear alignment stuff by now.
sorry if i'm repeating myself,

The Eibach kits are a lot like the SPC ones. Yes, they will fit your car without any serious issues, since you do not have ABS.
And yes, you do need them when you get the alignment, but the mechanic should be able to install them for you at the same time. The fronts are very simple, but the rears should be set up to the same length as the stock units, then installed. That should save some time during the alignement, along with money.
