people with eibach sportlines

im trying to decide between the sportlines and goldline springs... Im cool with the 1.4" drop that the sportlines give. I just have one problem though. I was talking to a guy who had the sportlines and his rear was noticeably lower than the front. If thats the case then i definately dont want those springs. So what im asking is people with sportlines is your rear lower than the front? and is the drop really 1.4" all around?

I have sportlines on my coupe, here's a pic. I never noticed that it seemed lower in the rear, maybe your friend has a sedan? I think the sedan may look lower in the rear. After it settled, I'm about 1.5" lower then stock.

no he had a coupe.. his rear was lower by about 1 finger and no system... Could it be possible, that it was the installation or a defective set?

Most likely it sagged ebcause the bushings were worn out and the shocks were blown, that will affect hwo the car settles in the back.

I'm thinkin of gettin Sportlines as well. Do any of your cars bottom out that much with Sportlines??? I'm just a bit worried about speed bumps, and gettin my car up my driveway.

I've only scraped over one speed bump with mine. It was a fairly tall speed bump with two of my buddies riding with me. I dont have a bassbox or aftermarket exhaust.. so yes you risk the chance of scraping with just about any significant drop. I dont really feel its a problem since I can get over most bumps without any troubles. One scrape in almost 6 months isnt a big deal to me..

I got Sportlines on a sedan and I don't see a problem with the drop. It was like a 1.8 drop. If your rear ends up noticably lower than the front, just use the high setting on your Konis in the back... that's if you're planning on replacing your shocks too.

Neuspeed = even drop front and back. Eibach
springs are always being questioned whether it's
a even drop or not, I'd stay away.

well i ended up getting h&r sport and i love them! Yes my car is not slammed, but there is definately a noticeble drop and the car looks way better with the 18s now. The ride is super comfy even with the stock shocks. Honestly i dont feel much of a difference in ride comfort. Ofcourse i have to say the streets here are pretty smooth and Im not constantly going over bumps and potholes. Handling wise... its 300% better than stock! This is the way the car should have come! I hated the stock suspension and felt that the car handled terribly in turns and even lane switches (at high speeds). But now it feels great and the car feels more solid and i have much better control.

ya thats about the correct measurement. the height they give is without the vehicle settling down. Its usually 1.6 and 1.8 but mine are 1.8 all around. eibach is a great drop for our cars.

oh... and i chose the H&Rs over the sportlines basically cause the price. The sportlines are $140 CDN more than the h&rs for a similar drop.
