I don't know if I'm right or not but it may have something to do with the fact that each corner of the suspension is independent and not linked together. So each strut controls each wheel and corner independently, like if you hit a pothole on your front drivers side only that side will jump up. Each wheel can move up and down by itself and when you are cornering your wheels can hop because they lose contact with the ground.

When you use a anti-sway bar which I am guessing is under the car and not on top like a stru tower bar you are linking the two rear corners of the supension together and they can no longer act independently, because what happens to one corner will happen to the other since they are linked. So the benefits will be that when you corner, there will be no wheel hop or loss of traction, and steering will be more sensitive. But when you go over a speed bump or hit a pothole one corner of the car will bring the other up with it, that's why you feel like the whole rear of the car is "flying up."

The sway bar tries to balance out any movement from one side to keep the wheels planted on teh ground mostly. At least that's what I've experienced

well, b4 this mod my car's suspension was basically stock and i loved the smooth ride. now after having it on for a few days, ive noticed that the ride is a lot more bouncier, well when im riding on smooth roads, its fine. but when the road is the least bit uneven (any bumps or anyhting) the rear of my car bounces like hell.

Did you install the Stock RSX one or the Beefier Type S one?

The 19mm one seems to be best for the stock rear-end from what I have read.

Just my 2cents
