what exactly does this upgrade do for our cars? ive heard lots of people like them and stuff, but what exactly does it do for us? i installed it and i noticed that now my car is A LOT more bouncier. like when i hit a bump or something my rear end goes flying???
I don't know if I'm right or not but it may have something to do with the fact that each corner of the suspension is independent and not linked together. So each strut controls each wheel and corner independently, like if you hit a pothole on your front drivers side only that side will jump up. Each wheel can move up and down by itself and when you are cornering your wheels can hop because they lose contact with the ground.
When you use a anti-sway bar which I am guessing is under the car and not on top like a stru tower bar you are linking the two rear corners of the supension together and they can no longer act independently, because what happens to one corner will happen to the other since they are linked. So the benefits will be that when you corner, there will be no wheel hop or loss of traction, and steering will be more sensitive. But when you go over a speed bump or hit a pothole one corner of the car will bring the other up with it, that's why you feel like the whole rear of the car is "flying up."
