installing koni yellows on 01 civic

I have a 01 civic 2 dr lx that i am putting koni on w/ ground control sleeves. i have done a lot of civics pre-2001, and i lowered my rsx with the tein full dampers (same suspension setup as 01-up civics i think). i am actually looking for any hints/tips on the front struts. if anyone else has tackled it they know it involves cutting and drilling of the stock strut housing, and i just wanted a lil input before i do it tomorrow.

ps. hope to see some of you at Carlisle next month, both my cars will be there. thanks, nick

The hardest thing for me was pushing the Konis in the struts housing. I ended up taking the front struts to a tire shop and them compressed in by a machine, rather than hammering them in by hand.

we were installing the yellows on a civic and the bottom perch came off as we compressed the spring. they really don't look that stable at all..
