Don't know if I can drop
I have a problem.... I installed 17" fastco wheels on my 2001 coupe with 215/40/17 yoko's and I look at it and it does'nt seem like I can drop the car because of the width of the tires.... I'm affraid it will rub on the fenders... I would like to drop at least 2 inches but I looked at the clearance and I don't think it will fit.. And I don't wanna adjust the camber to make them fit and destroy my tires, what do I do?????

2 inches might be kinda low. if you really want to do that then i would suggest leaving the camber really negative so that it does not rub, but you will get uneven wear on them. try a 1.75" drop and you should be fine or go to lower 205/40's or even 205/35s.

you can drop either 1) choose a different width tire then drop, 2)obtain reall negative camber but then premature wear on tires will occur or 3) dont drop it too far maybe a 1.5 to 1.75 allaround drop and you should be ok i personally would go with a different width of tire

dude dont even trip, you can drop your car 2.5" and still have no problems at all. they are not that wide, majority of the people here have 215s. hell i have 215-40-18s which are exactly 1" BIGGER then your tires. i'm on neuspeed sports, no camber kit, no rubbing what so ever. if your afraid of camber, just roll the fenders and little, keep the rear camber to like -1.5 and you should be perfectly fine.
