Camber kit install

How hard is it to install the front and rear camber kit on an 02 civic ex. I went to an alignment shop and they said they would do it for 200 with the alignment. Is it worth it or should I do it myself? If I do it myself how long should it take and what tools do I need?

Here's a couple of links from SPC on how to install both the front and rear kits: rear and front.

Simple hand tools including a torque wrench should be enough to get it done.

You should install the camber kit yourself. For a noobie like myself it only took about 30 minutes. It's Only 3 bolts on each side of the back and one bolt on each side in the front. In my opinion jacking the car up and taking the tires off was more difficult then changing the camber kit. Figure the alignment would cost you 70 at the most, so they are charging you like $130.00 to install bolts. Such a rip off. So install the bolts yourself and then take the car in for an alignment.

All you need is a socket wrench, it's just that easy

After you get the kits installed you want to schedule to have a 4 wheel alignment done at a reputable shop.
