Sportlines or ProKit on stock rims?
If you have sportlines or the pro-kit from eibach, what is your opinon of the amount of lowering done by each kit? I have a 2003 EX and plan on rolling on my stock Si rims for a while. I was thinking about getting a pro kit but im afraid that the lowering won't leave me satisfied. Opinions on the matter???

the drop on the pro-kit is around an inch. the sportlines are WAY lower and you'll need a camber kit if you get those. it all depends on how low ya wanna go

If you want a subtle drop, go with the Pro-kit, but if your like me after awhile you'll want to go lower. I would just go with the Sportlines, and if it were me, I would get the camber kits too. I didn't check to see if you have a sedan or a coupe, but if you have a sedan, DON"T get Eibach springs! I had the Pro-kit on my car and the back sat a lot lower than the front, because Eibach makes their springs for coupes. If you do have a sedan then go with the sedan model springs by goldline or neuspeed. I just put on goldlines and I love them, and Jeff at Goldline is the MAN, he gave me the best customer service I have ever dealt with.

It's not even a half inch man.
I had sportlines on stock 15s, they were alright; it's a 1.4 inch drop
Not nearly low enuff for me., most people did not notice right away.
Good thing is that it's a pretty even drop.
prokit gives you a sensible drop, but if you want to slam it, go with the sportlines. i personally think the prokit is enough cause it gives me a smooth ride with great cornering performance in the autox's. to me, anything lower that does not effect performance is kinda ricey.

Here's mine on Sportlines:
Before I dropped mine, I measured it. After a couple of weeks I measured it again and the final drop was about 1 1/4" lower. For me its enough since its my daily driver, gives me a sportier feel and I'm not 4x4 looking with my 17"s. I put on a couple of cheap Ebay strubars and its a blast to drive.

I have the pro-kit...they are ok...I would have like lower but the sportline were to low for me...the pro-kit are good, decent drop...good cornering, makes the car look better, definately better...and it's practical...you don't have to worry about plowing the street like other people with their slammed cars
I'm considering my next buy the h & r cup kit....just need to win the lottery

I have ProKit with Konis. Check my members rides page for pics.
If you have a lip and side skirts the appearance of the drop will, of course, be greater than with just the stock body. I also have stock 15" wheels.

Triple posting ownz yuo
As far as the drop goes, Neuspeed springs are nice.
I hope that you will do this smart and do not drop your car more than the shocks can handle.
Thers a lot riced out civics with 3" drop and camber WAY out of specs.
If you dont plan on getting new shocks don't drop more than 1.5
New shocks + springs = nice drop and better ride.
But than camber kit might be needed.
Check out KONI, KYB, Neuspeed, Eibach, Ground-Control, Ingalls.
Google it up and find yourself a nice combo.

if you dont think the prokit is going to be low enough it probably wont... i went with neuspeed sports(opposed to race) to be on the safe side but why spend $200+ to make your car look stock? people could hardly even tell my car is dropped...

sportlines is no where near slammed.. slammed is more like 4". your auto-x'ing with prokit??? prokits are really soft. anything lower that doesn't effect performance is ricey??? dude neuspeed race or even neuspeed sports will give you much better performance then prokit. eibachs are known to be soft and meant for the daily driver.. and how you going to auto-x with just springs? you need to get tein flex or jic flt-a2s for auto-x'ing

One thing for sure, just putting on some springs isn't going to be satisfactory for spirited driving. One should consider the spring/shock combination based on drving style or car use. Springs alone just won't get it, even on a daily driver..
