Suspension Problems, Need Advice

Ive been riding on a Skunk2 Adjustable Spring/Koni Strut combo for about a year now. I recently had a slow leak on the driver front tire so i went ahead and replaced all 4 because I wanted some wider/taller tires. Anyway since this flat I started getting some bad jitter in the steering wheel which i thought was a balancing issue but have come to find out my front struts were blown. Ive replaced my front struts but there is still a bit of play in the suspension assembly on the passenger front which translates to my steering wheel shaking or jittering at about 65mph and continues to get worse the faster i go.

Anyone have any ideas of what could be causing this? One theory is that the stock strut assembly was cut too short and the strut has widened the housing and created some play. So i was thinking about buying a new OEM strut and modifying it myself this time to make sure its done right.

Another problem is that when I go over bumps at slow speeds like pulling into a parking lot that is elevated off the main road i usually get a popping noise from the back, like something is popping in and out of place. Any Idea what this could be? I was thinking if I just get some Eibach sportlies and trash the Skunks it might take of care this as well.

If anyone can recomend a suspension combo that they are using that doesnt make any noise that would be cool.

Thanks for any ideas/help!

any noise is usually a installation issue..
what kind of play, when you jack up that side of the tire, you can turn the wheel with your hands? its possible the tie rod boot is broken or even worse the cv boot.. i dont think blown shocks would cause the steering wheel to sake. are you sure you got them balanced right? i got my wheels balanced 3-5 times before they got it right..
popping noise, is it when you turn the wheel? maybe try jacking up the rear and seeing if anything pops out of place?
a good replacement i would say is tein or b&g, runs a little more then your current setup tho..

Yah I can wiggle the wheel on the passenger front with my hands. Used to do the same only worse on the driver side until i replaced the strut now there is no play. I was hoping it was just the same problem on the passenger side but even after replacing the strut there is a nice bit of play.

The popping noise is defineatly coming from the rear, usually when im driving up and into a parking lot or over speed bumps. I think it makes the same noise when I jack up the front of the car.
