Ride is great...... my ride was bouncy as heck before the koni's.....
But i have one big complaint about them......
The piece made to hold up the spring perch or coil perch is way to small in width and way to weak....
I was driving in NY..... and NY has alot of potholes..... well i hit a series of small ones goin around 40....
and the whole thing just gave.......
When i took out the konis... found out that the piece holding the perch to the konis had broke....
If u compare konis to stock strauts u will see what i mean.....
SO my vote is a NO on koni's (yellow)

I showed pictures of my konis on the site weeks ago that referred to the rear's perch. I was terribly disappointed with the design and thought it looked dangerous quite frankly. No one really seemed to care about what could happen while they were driving down the road. Your story is exactly like the one I pictured in my head when I first got my konis. I think it is a lot more common than koni would have you believe. Koni is overpriced poopoo imo.

Its just the rears that have the adjustable clip to set the perch higher or lower for ride height. I saw mbows pics and I was just as disgusted as he was with its design. I'm holding out for some Tokicos or KYB's myself.
i agree that the ride is great compared with coilovers and the stock setup, it is a little rough goin over a series of potholes though. i still drive like i did on the stock struts (very carefully). but i have heard complaints about the tein setup as well. it just goes to show you that once you lower your car, ride quality is going to drop. if koni were to improve on that rear perch then i say go for it. your alternative is to keep runnin your stock struts til they blow and keep replacin them with oem struts. either way it's gonna cost you.

here's the picture mbow posted.. you see the clip on the left of the koni sign, well you could move that like an inch up. you could see where it goes on the left of the clip, just put the clip there and it should fix your height on the rear
what koni yellow consist of.. no threaded body.. the front is just an insert, doesnt come with ANY perch. you have to use the stock's perch and steering arm(what mcpherson struts have). the rears come with the perch. you can set the perch at two heights using that clip... kinda seems weak tho.. with both from and back your going to need all the top peices including the top perch..

If you have Ground Controls, the adapter clip they provide for owners with Koni struts, cures any issues you guys say about the standard Koni rear perch and clip not being strong enough. The clip is T6061 aluminum, and it sits on top of, and covers the sides of the clip, holding it in place in the groove in the body of the Koni. The Ground Control sleeve then slips over and around the adaptor. I've had mine Koni's and GC's for over a year, no problems.
