Air Suspension - Help

Just had air cylinders installed on my civic, and had a few questions that I hope someone will help answer. First of all I own a 94' Civic
but visit this forum for help, because it covers just about everything, and can relate to my year civic.

The shop that installed it says that I can't use my strut tower tie bars because I need the flex. However I remember reading on the lowrider euro website that it is recommended. When I picked up my car there was a customer telling me inside that he drove around all summer with his all the way lowered and his $1300 kit ended up costing him $3000 because he bent his shock towers. I wish i had asked him whether or not he used the strut tie bars. Anyone know for sure the best way to go? Also noticed my rear sway bar is not even connected. And my trunk is a wiring mess, out of every install I've seen in magazines or online, never seen anything like what i have. IF you want pictures to see what i'm talking about just ask! Also they said they mounted the rear for max lift, so when doing the "doggy-leg" move, is this the reason why I can only get it like 3 inches off the ground? The last car show i went to they had it like a foot off the ground and tucking nice. Or am I just not hitting the right switches? My first drive from the shop was real harsh, but I have corrected that when i pulled over to see how high i was. I had big plans for this civic but this air ride is making me think. I'm have 17's on there now and was planning to go 19. And the fact that it hits harsh, I'll be scared to put on those fiberglass fenders and mold in the rear bumber. I have plenty pics of everything if anyone is interested how it can sit.

Post some pics. So do you have air cylinders or bags? If you have cylinders install some accumulators. That should help out your ride a bit.

Heres a URL for a bunch of pics... its cylinders all the way around. The rear have 3 different holes on a bracket for the control arms that vary how high and how low it can go. Mine was installed at the highest holeAir Ride Pictures

omg they screwed all the wireing and valves up.. we just did an air bag install on a truck and the valves should be outside of the car and the wiring should not be crimped but solidered together then shrinkwraped.. yes your rear sway should be hooked up and strut bars front and rear are a great idea bc u dont want your body to flex.. i have so much else to put but im tired as crap
