AHH!!! Suspension Questions
I have a couple questions on suspension. First of all I have a 2002 coupe on 17 inch rims. I was thinking of dropping it but I have a few questions first...
1. Would it be better to go with coilovers or springs for a nice drop?
2. I would like to still have a smooth ride without buying everything aftermarker (ie: struts)
3. How much of a drop can we have on our cars before we need a front camber kit and a back camber kit?
4. How much would it cost to buy decent springs (or coilovers) and camber kits (or whatever is necessary) for my car? (just an estimate)
Thank you very much. I am just looking for a little bit of info, so some help would be greatly appreciated.

1. imo i'd go with coilovers (preferably full, but sleeve is fine) just because they are adjustable. i just installed b+g coilovers on my car and you can drop it a max of 2.5-3 inches i think, but i dont think you'd do that with 17's on.
2. no matter what springs/coilovers you get, the ride still wont be as good as stock. and you will have to buy aftermarket shocks eventually, because the oem shocks would probably blow out
3. im not really sure how low the car can go w/o a camber kit, but mine is dropped 2.25 and i need a camber kit for the rear. the fronts are cool since they are mcpherson struts unlike the rear which are double wishbone.
4. im not really sure on the prices but i think springs go for 100-200 and sleeved coilovers go for 200-350 i think. and full coilovers are 1000-1300. so far the cheapest camber kits i can find are from hondawerx, 138 front and rear for ingalls. if you get springs or sleeved coilovers, shocks are around 400-600.
