I just installed the TEIN SS on my car, it does NOT have built in camber, maybe the flex does, who knows. Anyways, upon installing them I can barely notice the camber is off a little, I'll probably get a camber kit in the spring depending on how my tire wear is. Later....

Tein ss does NOT have a built in camber kit.
the flex does..
it doesnt matter if you have tein ss or b&gs... whether you need or dont need a camber kit depends on the amount you drop your car... i think i explained this in the suspension faq and i'm sure it can be found in the threads..
but ya whether you need or dont need one depends on the drop.

yep, what VNlilMAN said.

i have Tein SS coilovers and I dropped the front all the way and rear about equal with the front, and i most certainly needed the camber kits i bought, and i also badly needed an alignment after the install, just to you know.

the tein's can go low as hell! I just installed them and with theire recommend settings it gave me like a 2 inch drop, and I can still lower it another inch or so, which would be way too low. I don't know how all you guys can lower your car so much and not worry about scraping. My car scrapes pretty good on small inclines/speed bumps and its not even dropped all the way! I don't understand your logic I guess... Unless you're going for a strictly show car and you're not gunna be a daily driver, but for practical every day driving the Tein's are perfect.

The Flex's go about 3 inches max all around just like the SS. The Flex has a shorter stroke though and I do not bottom out. I full suspension travel in the front too. Both my front and rear tires are tucked away under the wheel well. Since I got the floor bar, now my front tires rub on the upper fenderwall on hard turns. Without the floor bar, my car did not dive at all, now it does. It handles better now and the tires do not squeal anymore. Just need to get the courage to take the off ramp above 60 mph. Its been raining every now and then and the roads are wet. I do not really want my car in a ditch right now.

I need to higher my car a little bit until I get my sway bars. I scrape almost everywhere(if choose to) and some I cannot even avoid.

are you serious? i've always thought the teins only dropped like 2" max.. i've seen two pictures where the car is supposidely dropped all the way and it still has a big gap... maybe one day someone could slam the car all the way down and show me pictures? only reason why i never liked teins was cause it didnt drop low enough but if it is 3" that would be nice

I didn't take any measurements, but I previously had the Eibach prokit which was about 1" drop and with the Tein SS at the recommended setting its about 1" lower now than with the Eibachs. I have 1 finger gap in front and 0 finger gap in the rear. When summer comes, and I put my rims back on.. I will slam it all the way and take pictures for you all to check out...

You wouldn't happen to have picture of your car with that drop, would you?

I just put them on, maybe you installed them wrong... read what I just wrote. I had eibach pro-kit with 1" drop, now I have about a 2" drop at recommended setting by Tein because it sits 1" lower than with the prokit, and I could still lower another 20mm which is close to 25.4mm=1" so thats about 3" total, do the math... I wouldn't lie about this!

Here is what their site says for our cars. I would imagine that it means the fronts can be lowered from 1.1 - 2.7 inches and the rear 1.2 - 3.8 inches???

-1.1 ~ -2.7 Front
-1.2 ~ -3.8 Rear

BTW, tein SS's have an available upper pillow ball mount that IS adjustable for camber in the front. I was unaware this wasn't standard, but my father's tein's came with the upper mount (for his RSX-S)....
