need advice . . .
yes i am the same guy who had questions with the lowered springs . . .
my problem now is, i went to my mechanic to get this clunking noise fixed. unfortunately the stock struts are too long for performance springs that i ended up blowing one of them. my mechanic told me to get rubber stoppers for my h&r springs and get teh struts replaced. if i can handle the clunking noice leave it for now. blah blah blah. i'm planning to get a whole brand new kit? i'm not to familiar with the struts and what not so this is when you guys come into place. i did my searching but seemed a lil too difficult. as you know i need a whole new suspension kit, if that is what you call it. can anyone lead me to the righht direction please??? (iheard tien was pretty good, but i want new springs with the struts etc. )

k ill try to helo a little
Tein is good but it all depends on how far you want to go(LOW) or if you just want great ride. Good springs could be eibach, neuspeed, h&r, and a few others.
With struts i think you only have a couple choices konis or kyg(or kyb cant remember), the konis have to be cut and drilled and you have to use the stock housing looks like a pain in the butt, but they are good struts
Coilovers are good i myself am waiting for the full coilover H&R Cups, lot of people like ground control.
You need to decide what you want great ride/low ride??
do some more searches with different names of equipment and search the members rides to see what different products look like on peoples cars
Best of luck
I am sure i didnt help much but i tried

ncwcivic, still have alot to learn my friend..
Intruder, ya cup kit are not coilovers but they still have a height adjustable shock. i think its going to be like the koni rears, you know how they're "height adjustable"
well to answer DaSilverCivic... only aftermarket shocks out now are konis. but even those are just as long as stock. sure they'll last longer then stock but they're still full length. if you have the money, i'd go with true coilovers. ones out are tein and b&gs. they run about 1100 which is kinda expensive.. these come with both spring/shocks and are height adjustable.
but ya if its too expensive and your happy with the current height, just get konis.. you could use koni's with your current h&rs.. konis are about $550
if you wait awhile h&r is supposed to come out with their cup kit by the end of april.. its going to be a shock/spring setup. its going to be damper adjustable and "height adjustable"(again i dont think its going to be like coilovers but you'll still be able to adjust the height. it'll probably require you to take apart your suspension whenever you want to tho..). this will run about $600. it will be better then your current setup cause these will be shortened shocks unlike stock/koni shocks...
