Will there be rubbin'
#1) Ok my plan for spring so far is ... droppin the car with new struts (Koni Yellows or KYB's if they come out) and with a Neuspeed Sport Spring (1.7" drop) ... If I leave on my factory rims (2k2 si coupe) I think 185/65r/15's there will be no rubbin right. Please let me know.
#2) Also, after with that drop if I want to put these rims on (http://www.aewheel.com/wheels_detail.cfm?id=79) ... will the +40 offset fit right ? I have the 16X7.5's in the 169 series rim on that page for my '99 accord and the offset on them is +42mm and they stuck out about 1 cm in the front. For my civic I dont want them to stick out and the new 17X7 rim has a +40 mm offset ... will this stop that problem of sticking out and will it fit with the offset for the civics ?

1) NO IT WILL NOT RUB. neuspeed sports is hardly a drop. you shouldnt even worry about it
2) anywhere from +40 - +45 should be fine on our cars. i think our cars come with +42. not sure what mine is tho(if your really curious, check out focalwheels.com and look up the f5s, they only come in one offset). but ya keep in mind 2mm isnt that big of a difference. not sure how it stuck out 1cm on your accord..

i dont think so... cause alot of people use 7.5 width wheels.. i dunno, thats why i like to buy it from a local shop, they take care of everything.. if the offset is wrong, they'll fix it. if its misbalanced they'll fix it. no hub rings, they'll throw them in. wheels are one thing i dont really like buying online

true ... yah it is good to buy them at a shop .. my buddy did and one was bent when it arrived at the store ... they just sent it back... also with my rims ... one was flawed and caused a slow leak (couple psi a day) they just sent it back and I got a whole new one.
Still what would make it stil out that 1 cm in front wheels ???
