05civicexse is an unknown quantity at this point
i have a 2005 civic ex. i went with the magnaflow cat back.. its not ricey at all i love it. very low tone. the AEM CAI made it louder. then i ordered a downpipe and eliminated the cat. everything fits together VERY well. no rattles or anything. the downpipe is a megan racing pipe. power gains are noticeable.. when i got the car i raced my buddies DOHC Neon and lost. he was running solid motor mount, no air filter. since the upgrades i cant easily beat him. and i also had a even pull from 40-70 with a older WRX. i also have my throttle body ported and polished though. i would reccomend magnaflow for exhaust...... its wonderful!! hope i helped a little

i am very easliy sidetracked hahahah LaTeR!

i'm running on a Magnaflow exhaust also, and i completely agree with 05civicexse that it's not ricey at all. I get real deep and low tones with mine, and i'd recomment that too. I'm also running on a AEM SRI, though i want to upgrade to a CAI, complete with Kamikaze Headers. I recommend the Kamikaze if you don't live in CA, mostly for the fact that it's illegal in this damn state. But the Kamikaze does give you some good gains, and right now i'm feeling it a lot when i drive around.

a long time ago, I had a black hi-temp coated kamikaze header, ebay brand (hks-a) 2.5" midpipe with a custom exhaust ... I had also replaced that with both a greddy evo2 (which I sold) and a tanabe srm (which I also sold) ... I never had any major fitment problems.

Can any of you tell me how the hp header with hiflow cat and magnaflow exhaust match up? Also can any of you recommend something else if you think it is better. However I have a 01 lx sedan. So i am not quite sure what all fits it and what i need. Thanks.
