Lower my car what do i do!?!!?!?!?!?!

Hey i want to lower my car!!! i love the slammed look but it doesn't seem to practical for Newfoundland! i want to know what do i need ?? can a get away with just springs or should i get shocks too????what happens if i don't (ie like the stock ones blow up or something) will this be bad on my car!!!( in know that when the new mk4 vbubs get to low they have problems with the oil pan, the use lower strut bars to prevent and damage to the undercarage, can we do the same) i was thinking 1 3/4in or maybe 2in what do u think what brand names would you recomend!

Sorry about my spelling and grammer!!!

To simply put it,..... if you decide to lower your car then your are going to need some new shocks for the roads in Newfoundland. If they are anything like they are here in New Brunswick you will need them for sure.

Go springs, coilover's in my opinion require alot of maintenance. Depending on what type of person you are that may be fine.

I would suggest Neuspeed for a large drop, they go from I believe 1.5" up to 2.5" depending on model. Or Eibach for a moderate drop 1.5 - 1.75".

If you want a good aftermarket shock, Koni Yellows all the way

Hope that helps.

you need a camber kit with your springs, and wait until march for tockiio shocks. they'll be about 300 for a set. much cheaper than koni.

Eibachs are good and it's not too low. They go good with Konis. Great combination. Plus the shocks are ajustable to suit your needs.

There's plenty of stuff you'll tear off before you get to the oil pan.

Check my member's ride pics. That's a 1" drop.
