Might be crap.. 45mm Outside diameter.. but what material is it and what's the wall thickness..could be like 1mm in which case aluminum foil might be a better choice

BOMZ Racing is just a brand with generic items.. they got a manufacture to produce their products and slap on the "Bomz" brand.. they just want to start a brand thing, so to seperate themselves from the generic bars...
either way, the bar is pretty much the same as the ebay ones that arent 45mm... the bars are hollow, but yeah their thickness isn't exactly 1mm... I'm not too sure the size, but its a sturdy enough.
I think the rear ebay ones goes for 10 bucks plus 12 bucks shipping (usually)... so thats 22 bucks..
depending on how much shipping is for this one, I think the "Bomz 45mm" will performe the same as the ebay ones.
they're all from the same manufacture in asia anyway.

yes i've seen the generic rear strut bars on ebay. and they are around the price you have stated. i still went ahead and purchased my rear strut bar from that guy.. $27.65 shipped.. cuz i live in cali.. i have to pay tax.. shipping was $6. i hope it is 45MM as stated on his GB. i'll let you guys know everything goes. and man.. the bar looks great in his picture.

its the same thing as those generic bars.
just the brackets aren't painted, and the bar isn't as shiny. and there's no bomz logo.
but 27 sounds okay. as long as it fits on right, then its all good.
because the bar I got had trouble fitting. I had to hammer the sucker to get it to fit.

Bomz eh? I think I've seen those bars in Target's Str33t R4cing Isle.
Just kidding. Anyway, I wouldn't buy a strut bar that costs $20. When it comes to car parts you usually get what you pay for. If you're paying a cheap price for a part it means they're not putting a lot of money into producing it.
Example : Neuspeed has engineers that mathematically develop parts for automobiles. Therefore when buying stuff from them like strut tower braces you're paying for the research so that you know those bars are effective.
If you pay $20 for a strut bar it's not because the engineers decided to be nice and do kids favors by selling their parts cheap. It's because there ARE NO engineers. The parts are simply cheap. By the looks of that brace I could assemble something like that using random parts from home depot. Doesn't mean it's going to be effective just because it's a straight bar that connects the two strut towers.

uh.. isnt a bar a bar? whats the purpose of a strut bar? to connect both strut towers to reduce chassis flex. wouldnt just a regular pipe that connects it work? i dont see how research could go into these products. i personally dont like the 3 peice design. such as BOM, ebay or DC. it just doesnt look stiff to me. but ya as long as its a nice 1 peice design and not 1mm thick, i dont see how one bar is better then the next. hell if i had the tools, i would just buy a thick pipe from home depot, flatten the ends, drill holes in it and attach it to my car. would only cost what $10 the most and probably would work just as good as a neuspeed one. your basically playing for looks/design/name not engineering.
notice how on stock strut bars, its basically what i just said(a pipe connecting both towers), hmmm i wonder why.. its cheap but yet does what it was made to do. thats just my opinion on strut bars
