So my rents say I can't buy 17's and put em on because it will mess up my spedometer and some other stuff, but I say it won't. the problem is that I don't know how to prove that if I get 17's w/ 45mm tires that it won't mess anything up? ASAP because i'm dyin to put on some 17's but this isn't helping...

Get the parents and bring them in to the computer

On the left side of the tire calc, put in the stock EX size 185 65 15
>Point out the overall diameter of the stock tire is 24.49 inches
#4
On the right side of the tire calc, put in these two 17" sizes: 205 45 17 & 215 45 17
>Note that the 205 is actually a quarter of an inch shorter than the stock tire, so tell them there will be no rubbing problems and the speedometer will stay within 1% accuracy
>If you choose the 215 width, the tire will only be a whopping 0.15 inch larger in diameter but the speedometer error is still only 0.64%
