Neuspeed Front Upper Strut Tower Bar Installed!

Purchased it through the Groupbuy / Rob (www.tornactive.com)

Installation took 10 minutes because the bolts were really tight so i had to put up one hell of a fight!

Stability and steering-stiffness increased. Chasis/frame flex decreased big time.

When i try to do donuts the front wheels dont shake or "slide" as easy.

Well worth the money!

funny how i installed the neuspeed yesterday and the entire car felt extremely stable (good front/rear balance)

but now with the rsx anti-sway bar installed the back is extremely stable and the front "seems" lose, but it's really solid.

strange...

anyway, on both of those products.

to bad Rob does not have the best prices on Group Buy. I have noticed this in the Suspension section of group buy only, but there is never competing buy for the same products. Fishy, is it not? Last month(and three months ago) I saw the Neuspeeds for $90 shipped.

Whenever he does a groupbuy for us here he changes the price on his site to the same price. This is why it seems like he is not competing. He is actually marketing it to those who haven't seen the GB section.

Mebbe you should read more sections of this forum more often. If you check the GroupBuy section, you'll notice that Rob's already selling the Neuspeed Front Lower Bar.

i installed my Neupeed front upper strut that i bought from Rob@Tornactive (Neuspeed GB). the strut is not fit perfectly so i have to jack up my car and try to fit the strut. i took off all three bolt and finnaly, the strut is fit and installed. i tighten it using torque wrench (35lbs). after i finished, i test drive my car. and i noticed @ 1500-2000 rpm, i heard a vibrating noise (like a spring vibrating). I went home, tighten it up again and test drive it again, same thing ....

what i did wrong?? is my suspension mess up? is my spring mess up? or my alignment?

i need help please

Is the bar touching your resevoir at the top right ofthe bar?

I've heard some people need to modify that holder and just bend it a little bit.

I just installed my Bar today!

It was tough to get it to fit. I bent the resevoir down and took a soft hammer to pound it into place.

The it was time for the test drive. I was taking the turns as hard as possible and got no roll what-so-ever. AWSOME!!!

Thanks Rob

Anyone know what I should do if I don't have a Torque Wrench. I don't want to strip the bolt, but I also dont want it too loose. I normally just tighten things as much as I can. But for this I hear people talking about stripped bolts.

I did mine with a ratchet. Use a little muscle, there's no reason it should strip. Just make sure that the socket is on the nut.
For YS: Did you figure out what the problem was? Post some more details and we'll see if we can't figure out what the problem is.

thanks for your concern andyman97. I did solved the problem. there is some cable or hose or something ( i'll post pic tonight ) that hit my strut, so when i drive it just makes noises.

For Neuspeed Front Upper Strut :
Great handling for cornering and driving, i can't wait to install my Neuspeed Bushing and Neuspeed Front Lower CrossBar

Hmm, yeah, the only hose next to the strut is the brake line. It should be held on by a bolt to the strut assembly. You may want to check and make sure that bolt is securing the hose onto the bracket.

first impressions are amazing.... cornering ability greatly enhanced..... overall driving feel is much stiffer.... bumps felt more as if whole chassis has been stiffened.
