Need Suspension Advice
Im getting 18's for my 02 civic ex 4 door and i want to lower the car 1.5 inches after i get my wheels and becuz my model isnt at the top of the priority list.... products are lacking. I know nothing about suspension so I would like to know a few things. I was looking at the GoldLine Springs, not sure if there for 02's, and im thinking im gonna go with those. I would like to know what sway bars are and other suspension products are abailable for my ride and what they do. Also where can you get hoods for our civics?

there plenty of suspension mods out there... if you havnt already please read the suspension FAQ
since you have a 4 door, i would recommend neuspeed sports for 4 door. they're a 1.75" drop and are around 145 $shipped. goldlines do have a 4 door kit but seeing how their 2 door kits look i dont really like the drop. they are re-designing the 2 door kit but i dont think they are for the 4 doors. here's the link goldline announcement. call and they should be able to give you the right information. their customer service is just the best. but ya for 4 doors i would have to recommend neuspeed sports and maybe goldlines.. i wouldnt even recommend the others.
sway bars... progress makes a 22mm kit which comes with a tie bar. its fairly cheap. you can also use the RSX type s 19mm sway bar(about $50 used) or type r 22 mm sway bar(around $150 new). there's plenty of strut bars, i recommend neuspeed which is 100. i've heard DCs were good but neuspeeds look like a more solid design. DC also makes a tie bar, neuspeed has yet to release theres. i think DC also makes a rear strut bar, not sure if neuspeed does. theres also your cheap generic ebay ones but theres contraversy as to whether brand matters. i personally think it does as those generic bars look fairly weak/poorly designed.
