Rep Power: 393 the direction of the labels shouldnt matter when installing springs. n yes the label on the rear should be upside down, even an idiot cant get that wrong since the spring only fits in one way there.. the front however, its possible to install it both ways. i always thought it was tighter coils on the bottom but someone said they called neuspeed and they told him the tighter coils are supposed to be at the top. i'm sorry but whoever told him that is an idiot. also you'll notice a groove on the bottom perch(where the spring sits) and the end of the spring should be near it

Rep Power: 393 as for the squeeks i'm not sure, maybe try spraying wd-40? or you could take it back and they'll probably tell you its cause they have to settle(mine never made those noises). i had a 'pinging' noise everytime on got in the car but no squeeks.. someone else here had a problem with their goldlines squeeking... not sure whats goin on here...

Rep Power: 393 on the rear? are you sure? the bottom ones should be touching each other... if you are right then i suggest you not even go there cause like i said, even an idiot cant get that wrong...

Rep Power: 0 I have neuspeed spot springs too and my rear springs are upside down(meaniing the words are upside down) . I was told that was the only way it would fit. I have no problems in the back. As for the front, i had it the right way(tighter coils on the top)..but i had a clickin noise everytime i go at low speed or turnin my steerin wheel at low speed. So i went ahead and did the front springs right side up (tighter coils at the bottom) and it still makes clickin noise. Does your front do that too?? I called neuspeed about the clickin the noise and my springs being rightside up. They said the springs are okay if it's rightside up because it fits optimacally or something. As for as the clickin he will get back with me. If the springs break i have fulll warranty so it doesn't matter.

Rep Power: 0 Front: tight (dead coils) on top
Rear: tight (dead coils) bottom
Note: the front springs might fit with the dead coils on the bottom but if you try both ways, you'll notice that the strut piston sits centered when the spring is installed with the dead coils on top. However, if you flip the spring over and have the dead coils on the bottom, you'll notice that the strut piston sit off center inside the spring. You want the strut piston to be centered as much as possible.
Also, need to make sure that the small hole in the upper metal spring perch is facing inward toward the engine on both sides when the strut assembly is installed.
Also, gotta put that coil sleeve around the bottom spring coil. It will prevent unnecessary noise.
In addition to all this, have the dust cover/boot cut off the front bump stop so that you just have the bump stop installed. Don't worry about ruining the strut piston 'cause it's all sealed and won't allow dirt/contaminants into the shock.
Hope this all makes sense cause it has worked marvelously for me.

Rep Power: 0 ok, so the clicking noise is normal? i was afraid they installed it wrong or i might need cambers or an alignment already. i really don't know jack about suspension. hopefully the clicking noise stops sooner than a month or two. it's really annoying! sorry, i just had to vent out my frustration.

Rep Power: 0 ok i'm a little confused. i thought i just needed an alignment? can anyone clarify this for me. if i need cambers, which one do i need? i'm under the impression that there are different kinds out there, not just brands, but different degree or something. thanks in advance.

Rep Power: 393 well you need a camber kit to get proper alignment... our rear control arms arent adjustable so you cant fix the camber without the camber kit. there are three brands out so far, ingalls, spc and eibach... as for difference, only difference is the degree you can change the front. the front camber kit only replaces a bolt.. you need 1 to change to 1 degree and 2 to change up to 2 degrees.
