Talking post track mayhem

yes, i realize playing on the street is not a good idea but its different when ur going with a group of like 5-8 cars

anyways... after racing at the track all day, i decide to head back to my friends house to help clean up cause a bunch of us stayed there the night before and caused a lot of trouble for the missus... there wasnt hardly any traffic, luckily

he drives a probe gt with a jdm mazda v6 in there.. i gotta tell u.. that thing friggin MOVES

so im following him at a leisurly 60 in the right lane when i spot this integra coming up fast in middle lane with his high beams on, so i anticipate a ricer flyby, so i downshift into 4th in preparation for the immediate spankage

i wait for him to pass me and clear my front bumper. now he still accelerating i guess, so i downshift to 3rd, change lanes across the middle lane to the left lane, and he hears my exhaust and looks over at me, as im going past him, at this point myself, the integra, and my friend's probe are all lined up, he knew what he was doing, so he gets on it and the guy in the integra looks over at the probe in pure hilaric confusion and was totally unprepared for the double ownage

within seconds my friend and i are doing 110 and there is like 6-9 cars between us and the integra, my friends probe was about 2-3 cars in front of me

so after we get our distance i think he gave up or something, so i slow down a little and move into the right lane back behind the probe, i thought that was over... NOPE.. the integra comes charging back up.. with his high beams on...now i let him pass me cause my friend wasnt doing anything at the time, and i didnt feel like changing lanes, cause there were 2 cars way ahead in the middle and right lanes going about the same speed... plus i figured he learned his lesson the first time
wrong again, so hes accelerating towards the probe trying to line up, then i see my friend's hand come out the window and he waves at the integra, then before i can downshift to 3rd, my friend takes off, crosses to the left lane and by the time i get on it in 3rd, hes already past the cars which were like 1/8th mile in front of us

so i pass the integra AGAIN... i quickly change lanes from the right lane across the middle lane straight to the left lane, yes i know there wasnt anyone in that lane cause i looked way ahead of time, so by the time i was past the 2 cars, i was already going 95ish, and i was accelerating more to catch up to my friend's probe...

when we got to his house, we were all laughing about the integra trying to pass us...

the night before, he said my car was peppy.. after running at the track, and seeing how my car ran on the streets.. it got upgraded to fast

oh.. btw, i ran a 15.6, which i believe puts me to the fastest n/a sohc honda 4 for that day
at the track was a blast.. at the staging area, i would leave my hood open to cool the motor off.. i walk off and do something and 5 min later i would return to see 4-5 ppl crowding around my car looking at the engine imp:
i guess they:
1. never seen a d17a2 before
2. trying to figure out how my car is able to go in the 15.5-15.99 category
3. awwing at how clean my engine bay looked
4. wondering why i have such a small header

oh.. modlist
injen intake with ractive filter
2.5" downpipe with resonator
straight pipe catback with tsudo n1 style muffler
vafc2 (tuned)
neuspeed sport springs
removed front passenger seat (does anyone know a quick, cost free, way to reset the srs light?)
stock steelies, without hub caps
toyo ultra premium touring tires (185/65/15)

oh.. the guy that tuned my car was doing high 11's in his integra

fun fun times
i love going to the track with a group of people, going solo isnt much fun..
i mean its fun to run down the strip, but the long drive makes it really fun cause we would see rice heading towards our direction and everything

this is probablly my last outing to the track.. im switching to autocross

hoped you enjoyed reading this post as much as i had smokin this integra

"removed front passenger seat (does anyone know a quick, cost free, way to reset the srs light?)"
