CAMBER KITS

I have a question and yes vnlilman i searched cuz i knew youd say something, i want to get goldines wiht a 1.75 drop?? But anyway, what kind of degree correction kit will i need, i thought they were universal, but now i realize the more the correction, the more it costs, just curious, not sure how to convert inches to degrees, and where to get the cheapest kit, 150 all around??

I'd recommend the Ingles but some people prefer SPC......I thought you didn't need a camber kit for Goldlines???.......You'll really only need the back if you get them though,, since the MacPherson struts in front don't camber much.....

man how you gunna do me like that. majority of the time i will briefly answer the question even if it has been asked hundreds of times before and i will mention the search. in your case i would have answered it and said 'if there are other things you want to know about camber kits, please search or if you cant find the answer post here'. but ya anyways since you mentioned the search thing to me i decided to prove that the answers could be found by searching

-a guy with sportlines(a similar drop to goldlines)."Now, I had my alignment checked prior to installing the kit. My friend works at a tire shop, so we aligned as best we could without the kits. Castor, and toe in were all done to factory specs. The fronts were -1 degree. The rears were -1.5 degrees"
-slightly smaller drop then goldlines "H&R sport. i have the same springs. it is a 1.3" drop. i brought my car to the alignment guy and he said it(rear) is 1 degree off"
-"The only adjustment difference between the two is that the front Ingalls kit can do up to 2 degrees while the SPC front kit can adjust up to 1.75 degrees"
-"Anyhow, I like the SPC design for the rear link better than the ingall design. You can get the rear kit, includes both sides, for 124 shipped off the group buy center. 39 for the front set shipped"
-"Yep. group buy rear and marketplace front for me was $155 shipped"

now in my own words.... the drop on goldlines isn't that low. for the rear, you'll be fine with any of the camber kits. they cost roughly about the same. the front is probably what your talking about when you mean "the more the correction, the more it costs". not sure if you know but the camber kit for the front is just merely a bolt(s) replacement. you replace one of the bolts to change up to 1 degree and you replace both if you want up to 2 degree correction. since we have mcpherson struts the front camber hardly changes so you really wouldnt need it for the front(2cute has explained why). just if you want to be on the safe side you should be fine with just 1 bolt, saving you $20. and btw i'm sorry if i sounded like a punk in this post, i just didn't appreciate what you said and i just had to prove my point. i mean you could have just said "i have searched". you didn't have to bring my name up... i do have a 'job' to do here and thats why i will mention the search at times but most of the time i will still answer your question. please dont think of me as another mod on a power trip or a mod that think he knows everything cause i dont. like i have said before, i dont want my opinion to be valued more then anyone else's on this site. n yes i would like the same respect as i have for everyone here...

thats what happens when you feel unappreciated at work... its like that one quote that goes something like 'if you dont like your job, dont quit, do it the american way, do a half a$$ed job' and this is exactly what i'm doing. i mean my job is koo and all but i just dont feel like i'm getting paid what i deserve so i spend alot of my time on this board from 9-6 to compensate. gotta love getting paid to go online and goto the bathroom every 15 mins
