Sway bar info

What is the size of our front sway bar. I have a 2002 lx sedan (canadian version).
I know I can upgrade my rear sway bar by putting a rsx-s and going from 12mm to 19mm.
Can I put the front swaybar from a rsx-s onto my car? Would it be better to do both or just the rear?

you have a 2002 lx. the rear is 13mm.. its better than 2001 lx which has none.. heh. or 2001 ex too. we had a 12 mm...

just the rear is fine I think.

u shouldn't need to bump up the front or decrease it... the front is 25.4mm

One guy here put on the JDM RSX sway bar on the rear. It's 22mm. He said that the car felt neutral. He does autocross too, so I believe him. You could do that. I'm not sure if the front sway bars from the RSX fit on the 7th gen Civic? I hear people saying no though.

You have no sway bar in the rear only. In the front you do have one. If you want to get a rear sway bar then you'll have to do DriftR's DIY: DIY: 2001 DX LX sway bar I'm planning to do this as well. I'm planning to get the Progress rear sway bar. It comes with an integrated tie bar. People say that you need to reinforce the rear chassis if you go with a thick sway bar like that. This is what I will buy. Oh yeah, it's 22mm. One other tidbit of information that might be useful is that the front swaybar is hollow while the rear is solid. This means that the thicker sway bar in front may provide just as much anti-sway tension as the rear sway bar. To get the exact idea you need stiffness calculations, weight distribution, and sway bar shape. Anyway...
