Strut Bars & Tie Bar thoughts
I've installed a rear upper strut bar, a front upper strut bar, and a rear lower tie bar on my lx civic. Looking through the forum i see alot of people saying they really dont make much of a difference. I have found that each one improved the drivability and funfactor of my ride considerably. The first one i installed was an ebay special rear upper strut bar. Immediatly after installing that during the test drive i found that the bar stiffened the feel while turning quite alot. Next I got a Neuspeed upper front (needed it to clear my intake) and this changed the feel of the car even more. I never really liked how the car kind of dives into turns. This effectivly eliminated that. I figured since i had both of those i might as well get the rear lower tie bar and try it out. After such good results with the ebay special upper rear strut bar i figured what the hell...just get the ebay special lower tie bar too. Why spend 5 times as much on something that will have little or no difference in effect. So anyway, i installed the tie bar earlier today with a little trouble. Alot of people say that it's kind of hard to do but if you have a little common sense its not that hard...just use your noggin. After driving around with this thing bolted on i notice alot of the sway that was still kind of there is gone. The sway i get when changing lanes is gone. I find myself being able to punch out of turns faster. This is all with stock tires. Ok i'm done...

I just installed my B+G coilovers and the car is creaking everywhere i guess i need to invest in all these bars.. i wish someone would make a master topic explaining all the different bars and what they improve, so I know what order I should get them in.

My suspension is completely stock...and i've got an lx which rules out getting an rsx swaybar unless i follow the DIY which i dont think i'm going to i'm not that crafty
i have all 3 bars too but they are all no name brand....and they are good except the trunk bar started to bend downward. so if u really take hard corner then dont buy those cheap gentic one and spend on the brand name. lucky i dont do any hardcore turning so i am ok

here's a little good guide to go with on suspension tunning... although it doesn't have anything on strut bars and the likes, but it does have other more important factors... (springs, shocks, etc.)

i dont know...it seemed pretty solid to me..but i didnt go as far as smacking it on the ground ...if it bends..i'll get a branded one..
This is the difference between show/track/street use. If you want the performance without the cost you know where to go. What you want is what YOU want. Someone might want the same thing, but then at least they wanted it. At least you are not getting what everone else is getting and trying to fit in. Be unique, there is not much of that going around here.
