All you need is reducing washers, found here:

Also you should get Ground Control coilovers ( they are better).
How low are you planning to go? I believe kyb's are OE replacements.

Re: 02 em2 suspension

Well im planning on going a few inches lower maybe like 2-3 inches..right now i just have lowering springs but i want something pretty legit that will last me but yet not over $1000.. so u think the kyb n skunk2 coilover sleeves isnt a good combination?? Cuz all i want is a smooth ride n be able to lower n lift my car

Re: 02 em2 suspension

2-3 inches is a pretty good drop. The skunk 2 spring rates might not be high enough. Not sure if the kyb's can handle that low of a drop or a high spring rate (maybe someone else will know, or search). If you get GC's they will match your rate and sleeves to the shocks that you have. They will also tell you what will work the best.

The lower the drop, the worse the ride. If by smooth ride you mean more on the softer side.

Re: 02 em2 suspension

I swapped the ep3 suspension onto my 01 lx, because I needed new shocks so i did the whole car. I used a 5/8 drill bit to drill out the knuckles. It was a rather simple task. If you want to use ep3 shocks thats all you need to do.
