Lightbulb Clearance issues?

ive got a couple different questions, first of all anyone have any opinions on raceland coilovers?

Second with a thick rear sway bar and coilover setup does anyone run into any clearance problems with the exhaust? Ive got a cat back and i plan on getting coilovers and a thicker bar and wanted to make sure nothing would hit or touch and that i had enough room.
input is greatly appreciated!!!!
also its a 02 ex coupe if that makes any difference

Re: Clearance issues?

Raceland coilovers are a no go. Progress is probably the best budget coilovers for our car. They are still however around 1100 dollars.

You should be okay for clearance. Many have run thick sways with coilovers without any issues

Nice name BTW !

Re: Clearance issues?

I have a 21mm sway bar, 2.5" exhaust, and lowered about 1.5" and yes, there is contact between the sway bar and the exhaust. I made a simple solution of cutting a round foam tube to put over the sway bar to prevent rattling.

Re: Clearance issues?

You can always bend the exhaust hangars to create clearance. That's what i did and it works great.

If anything's gonna burn on my car, it'll involve my crappy wiring skills. The foam I used is dense and made to withstand heat (not that your exhaust is extremely hot at that point of the system anyway)

Now, Raceland coilovers lack Quality Control. So basically that means you're buying a product where each item isn't tested before selling it. To sell at a lower price, they are made with lower quality materials which have a much less consistent success rate. The chances of getting Racelands that will fail (mildly or catastrophically) is greater. Your life as a driver depends on safety, and suspension is one of the most crucial aspects of the cars performance. You should always buy superior quality suspension parts.
