sway bar issue

sway bar issue

i put a 22mm tanabe sway bar with a tanabe concept g exhaust on my ep3 and the exhaust rubs on the sway bar...does anyone know of a fix that doesnt involve bending my exhaust pipe or sway bar?

Re: sway bar issue

If you have the clearance (between your tip and the rear bumper), you can modify/bend your hangars and/or swap the hangar rubber pieces to pull it in a bit (if they are worn/droopy). Not too common to have clearance issues with a 22mm swaybar.

yea both of those are ideas ive had..i was just gonna take it to muffler shop and let them figure out a way to fix it cuz im too lazy to take it all apart..thanks for the reply

i simply did change the rubbers and added a rubber on the sway bar using common brackets.

i took it to a muffler shop and they bent the hangers a little so its good now
