What type of suspension is right for me??
What type of suspension is right for me??
my suspension is shot, i'm going to replace all 4 sides with new suspension.
i would get coilovers but they cost alot, and im not racing on a track.
the roads where i live are HORRIBLE (bumps, cracks, and pot holes everywhere!!)
as of now when i hit a bump of any size my car bounces 3 or 4 times i dont like that..
i would also like to lower the front of my car by like 1in. but i dont want to pay over $500 for a whole suspension set...
what kind of suspension should i look at, and if you know good places to buy online, Please Send The Link
Thank you ALSO-- i have a 2001 civic lx coupe stock everything

if your car is bouncing around it sounds like the shocks are blown. Good luck with replacing them and lowering for under $500 I just don't see it happening if you're going to do it right.

ok.. so im looking at Kyb Agx struts and shocks and Skunk 2 Coil-over sleeves adjustable kit... but it makes it seem like you only get i strut for the rear... check it out let me know what you think http://www.andysautosport.com/

Eibach sportlines or Tein S-Techs (1.4" or 1.3"/1.4" F/R drop, respectively) and Tokico HP (blues) shocks..
The setup will run you about $650 new

Werd. If you're gonna do it, do it right, and spend the extra buck.. It'll save you money in the long run
Here's the DIY guide to swap the stuff yourself. If you know how to use a wrench, you'll be fine. Me and my buddy (both with NO experience with suspension work back then) did this and it only took 4 hours in a driveway
