has anybody here ever done a EPS installation? i was talking with this guy that i bought an engine from a year ago whom is installing a electric power steering (EPS) system from, uh.. i guess a new civic? i didn't think of it at the time, but i should have payed more attention....

Its not a be priority to replace with a electric power steering because it doesn't strain the motor unless your turning the wheel. Most people want to get things taken off of there electrical system too.

well....p/s pump might be in the way and have to go bye-bye. rack and pinion is ok, but if i can get a good deal on a E-rack and module, i might as well get some power steering, eh? i was looking into my options. what's wrong with electricity...?

If you get eps your going to have to upgrade your alternator too and it seems like a lot of money but if its in your way on a certain project then it's got to go, but if you do it make an DIY and how much this will cost. I will be intrested to see this.
