Hello I'm new to this board & looking for liitle help. Recently I have been getting a creeking noise coming from the right front wheel on my '01 Civic. I only hear it when going over bumps ,uneven pavement, etc. Also I seem to be getting kind of a popping noise coming front when hitting bumps or minor dips on the road. I currently have 141K mi. on this car. Could the issue be the struts or something else. I haven't taken it to get looked at yet. I just want to get suggestions on what I could be dealing with & how much the cost could be since money tight right now with the holidays.

it could be struts, strut mount bearings, or the top mounts. creaking is usually caused by old or worn sway bar bushings. chances are its not a huge deal. you could try tightening the bolts holding the strut to the tower.

Thanks for the suggestions on what I should be looking at, and another thing last month I replaced a broken sway bar link on the left side, could that related to my current issue.
