I attempted to search but didn't find the answer I am looking for. I am about to install tokico blues with tanabe df210 springs on my 04 lx, does anyone know if I should replace my strut mounts, dust boots, and bump stops? Do any of these things come with my new struts? (I have not recieved them yet)
If I reuse the original stuff, should I cut my factory bump stops? Thanks to any and all who read this and can provide any knowledge.

joking, u can use the same strut mounts, dust boots, and im not sure bout bump stops. and i dont see y it wouldnt come with them. im on coilovers so it came with everything i needed cept for the dust boot for the back which i reused

basically take everything off that looks connected and then reverse order. lol all the stuff is not very hard to locate if you know absolutely anything about suspension.

I installed tokico blues over the weekend. The only thing that came in the box was the shock itself and a new nut for the top of the strut. Other than that, you will need to reuse everything from the old strut. Depending on how much you are lowering your car, you may need to trim your bump stops. I dropped mine on tein s-techs (about 1.5" drop) and did not cut my bump stops. I haven't had any problems yet.

My fronts didn't really have a bump stop, but a trimmed the dust boot a little and the rear had bump stops and I cut them in half, OEM I mean.

shouldn't need to do much when you install. Watch out in the hat though. For some reason there is ball bearings inside.

Hi, could you tell me how do i install the rear struts back on the car? i have 03 civic lx 4dr. I got stuck at putting them back on the car after putting the stock springs back on tokico struts. The end of the struts (where the 17mm bolt go through) is lowered than where it supposed to go to.

did you compress the spring correctly when you put it back together? Is it seated and bolted from the top completely?

You can either step on the drum to help get it in place or use a pry bar like I did. Either way it's a two person operation.
