Exclamation car undrivable....

when camber is set like this and something grinds, im assuming its the tire hitting the struts?? also steering is shitty as well, very undrivable. in was playing around with the settings for my new wheels 17x8.5 +30f.....logical explanation????

Re: car undrivable....

Um, I'm not an expert, but I think you can only fit a 7.5 wide wheel maximum under there. It also sounds like your offset is too low. Again, I'm not sure, but everything I've seen for the 7th gen is 7.5 width and then like +36 or 38 offset.

Wow, I know the pillowball moves, as mine does on my megans, but it looks like its way in to towards the center of the car. Why is that?

Re: car undrivable....

looks like you dialed in a bit too much camber there bro. i would imagine every tire rotation is chewing up the inner surface of your rims and possibly the tires, depending on where it's rubbing. i would be willing to bet it's either the lower spring perch or god forbid your outer tie rod end where the steering arm connects to it. better jack it up asap and take a look.

not to mention that is a really low offset for such wide wheels. i would consider raising the car a bit as well, since you have full coilovers and adjustable pillowball mounts. have fun
