noise from suspension, explanation w/ pic inside

okay...finally i got a pic of my front tein basic. wen i drive, it doesnt matter if the weather is cold or hot, going over small or big bumps, it keeps making this clicking sound.

i actually greased arrow "A" to see if the noise would go away but it didnt.

arrow "B", under that black piece, it has a white plastic piece that is attach to the shock and can move freely. does that inside part needed to be grease?

as for arrow "C", theres a rubber round piece jus right under the spring. would greasin the top and bottom of it help?

arrow "d", could that be a problem thats causing the clickin noise?

arrow "E", the bolt is tighten, as well as the top three bolts. i read a couple of thread sayin that loosen bolts can cause the clickin noise/ or any noise to the suspension, so that was actually the first thing i did; i made sure everything was tight.

Ok i'm not sure about the coilovers clicking, they should squeek really. the only time my suspension clicked was when the rotor screws were loose. check those...

I've got Ksports that used to always bind (the spring wouldn't turn). The squeeking you're all hearing may also be cause by that. I tried grease, nylon washers, all kind of stuff and ended up finding these:

they're universal, and heres the link: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/KYB-S...spagenameZWD1V
keep in mind that it could be something else, but im definitelly swapping my stocks with these hoping it will take care of the clunking noise im experiencing when turning the wheels at a low or no movement at all.
hope this helps.

i have the same noise, but i think when the lowering was done, the bushing's weren't installed, is it more of a click? or more vibration...

update: replacing the oem strut mounts with kyb ones took care of the noise coming from the struts that i used to experience, so i highly recommend doing that. that was one of the best investments that i've done as for the car suspension. its worth every penny. hope this helps.

here's the best deal on them straight from rsautoparts.com with free shipping: http://www.rsautoparts.com/Store/Sea...t=1&key=SM5403
i can honestly say that the mounts greatly reduced the noise in the front, however, it did not totally eliminate it. i suppose its because of the stress that is put on the aftermarket struts and springs, so i think its normal. what do u guys think?

great stuff. the kyb strut mounts have the bearing made of teflon and that works pretty good. anyway, thanks for the link.
