Help With Shocks/springs!!!?

okay so i was in the shop earlier today trying to put on my new tokico hp shocks with my skunk2 coilovers. It took me a while to get to the actual shock but when i did i found out that the coilovers didnt fit the shocks. So luckily i had my old eiback springs in my car and i was able to run with those (tokico shocks and eibach springs). After i did the driver side i went to the passanger side and found out that the shop sent me two left side shocks. So now i have one tokico shock and eibach spring on one side and one blown OEM shock and eibach on the other side. My question is what is a good spring that will give me a 2.5 or 3.0 inch drop and fit on the tokico HP shocks.

There is a sticky somewhere on the forum that can tell you the drop range for most aftermarket springs.

Re: Help With Shocks/springs!!!?

depending on the damper of ur struts/shock...eibach is a GOOD spring! i would jus be careful b/c if ur struts arent high rate...they will blow! i LOVE the low look..being i am puerto rican...every rican and they mom has a civic...but the either cut the springs or put crappy coil overs and roll out! NOT ME...so high rate springs should do fione but if ur struts arent high rate...i wouldnt drop it too low or ur comfort zone on those struts will go to ZERO.

Re: Help With Shocks/springs!!!?

Am I the only one confused here? Isn't the coilover assembly the full shock and spring? Why would he be adding other springs?

Re: Help With Shocks/springs!!!?

yes, and no. you can get full coilovers, with the shock/spring combo. but, you can also get sleeved coilovers, which are adjustable springs that sit on regular shocks.
