requesting pics of Tein S Tech springs on car
hi, im requesting pics of civic sedans or coupes that have the tein s tech springs installed. just wondering how much of a drop it is compared to stock
Re: requesting pics of Tein S Tech springs on car
first post...i duno if this is the first time uve ever been to the site. nobody is going to post pics or let you know how much of a drop it gives because this topic has been covered tons of times. If you go into the suspension section and look at the official drop picture thread thing..i think its still there, and look thru the pages, ull find what ur looking for. please use the search feature.....its about a 1.5 inch drop by the way.

I dont have s.techs but my overall experience with just springs has been shitty, i would just save up and get a bad *** full coilover kit.

i dont mean to bag on tein but there are sag problems with tein springs. I guess if you want more of a stock feel go with s techs or tein basics.

i have s techs and i love them....and they ONLY sag in sedans or if you have a large system in the trunk.......they give a pretty good stance......but if you havent made up your mind yet, def get coilovers.......

Here are some pics.. I had a heavy *** sub box in the trunk at the time of this picture which kinda explains why the back is a bit lower than the front..
Back when I was dropped on tein s-techs and tokico blues. Rims are 17x7 Buddy Club P1 Racing SFs wrapped in 215/45-17 nitto neogens.

Front

Back

Perdy comfy ride, if I do say so myself.

more or less.. i'm dropped on tein ss-p adjustable coilovers now and i have about a .5-1 finger gap all around.. the s-techs dropped it about a 2 finger gap up front and about 1.5 in the back
Re: requesting pics of Tein S Tech springs on car
nice^^ i should have gotten 215/45 instead of 215/40 cuz i have 2 finger gap in front/back on my sedan...
but wow, the s-techs are amazing! I have those, koni adjustables, front/rear strut bar, lower tie-bar, and engine torque damper to stiffen it up
only thing left is 19mm rear sway bar!!
but i havnt really noticed a sag in the rear but then again i stripped the trunk lolz
