i got skunk2 coilovers and they are not bad. but the height is different in the back and the front. the fronts are lower than the back and the setting i put on both are the same...so why is that? kus the back are at the lowest and the front is raised a bit. if i set them to make the car look level than it doesnt look dropped at all...is this normal or wat
Re: skunk2
I don't have these, but i heard they suck too.
My Progress full coils are the same thing. I think it's made that way. Has something to do with weight transfer. If you just got them on, ride it out for a few days, i'll settle a little.

Re: skunk2
as far as mine look, 2 years later, they are still holding up... lil bouncy, but i got kyb agxs with mine..i like them, but i want B+Gs next or some TEINs..here's a pic of mine on 205/50/16..and Varner also HAD these coils...and the settle wont go much lower, if any, mine is slammed in the rear, and front is halfway...

Re: skunk2
i drove and em2 lowered on skunk2 springs and stock struts. gave him a 2" drop and they felt nice. even with the stock struts, i was still taking turns at 50mph+.
Re: skunk2
yeah i heard the newer civic are lower in the front and a bit higher in the back kus of aerodynamic ****... so i guess i think im going to higher the front to make it level w/ the bak and lip kit all around....
how the hell do i rep someone?

Re: skunk2
well skunk2 coilovers kinda suck. They will tear your oem shocks up in a heartbeat (id give it about 2wks). The back will look more raised if you put them on the same setting; when i had mine, my back looked a little higher than my front. What kinda shocks are you going to get or do you have the full coilover kit?

Re: skunk2
well, what i heard B+G gives the best ride at a lowered stance, but im a fan of TEIN and JIC... so it all depends what i want to limit my spending to on coils and what not. the FLT-A2 ive wanted since i got my car, and i might be saving for that or some boost.. i dunno know tho

Re: skunk2
as far as the price goes, used B+Gs go for a great price, and they have a long life with them, as do most of the fullcoils, but for the best looks, the JIC or teins would work better for me prolly since the way i like to drive and be in control of my turns and some roads around here

Re: skunk2
hmm.......tien sounds good. Ive been going thru suspension set ups like underwear over the past few months. I started with eibach and KYB the went to skunk2 and tokico hp (which does not go together so i had to use my eibachs again). And now im waiting for my spec d's to come in along with the skunk2 lowering springs.
